Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities— always see them, for they are always there.
— Norman Vincent Peale

So, how can we become possibilitiarians?

When we choose to shift our perspectives or raise our sights, we begin to see the many possibilities that await us. By first relaxing and shifting our perspective, our visual focus and reality changes. When we cling to any one point of view, we deny and limit our ability to see what is before us.

Just like the budding flowers and trees of Spring, these possibilities of renewal and life have always been there. While not visible under the harsh cold and snow of Winter, they have been waiting to reveal themselves to the world. Truly, it comes down to the moment of perception and how we choose to see the world around us and even, the trajectory of our own lives.

Life will undoubtedly continue to challenge us, but if we pay close enough attention, these challenges can broaden our understanding. We begin to remember that all things are fleeting and temporary. Connecting ourselves to that which is good and joyful, we can restore our faith in good things to come, our beliefs, and look forward to the many possibilities that lie ahead.
