Take a moment to say goodbye to 2015. If this was a good year, express and remember gratitude. If it was a challenging year, cultivate compassion towards yourself, and be grateful still. This cultivation of gratitude reminds us to always be open and always be teachable. Our experience and openness to any situation helps us to evolve and propel forward.
As we remember this past year, we are also reminded that creation is ongoing. The world begins anew with every sunrise.
Like an awakening sunrise, let this coming year fall into place with open arms and a welcoming heart. This is the beginning of a new space.
In this coming year, what can you create and share with the world?
Howard Thurman offers us an incredible reminder, when he says:
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
This year is meant for restoring the feeling of being alive. Step into what you are meant to share. Step into what makes you come alive. There are so many people waiting for your gifts.
Always be open. Always be teachable. Make a commitment to share what makes you come alive.
And always remember what an incredible gift it is to be alive again today.
Creation is ongoing.
