Nurture Yourself and Your Relationships

Nurture Yourself and Your Relationships

The way to attract potential energy is to apply its behavior to oneself.
— Hugo Cory

How often is it that we take the things we love for granted? Bring to mind a circumstance in your life that you deeply appreciate and love. It may be your family, your friends, your health, or your job. Often we let these things we love and care for go unattended to.

Like precious plants, we can not disregard our body or relationships with others and expect them to flourish and grow. Instead we must apply consistent care to nurture both ourselves and our surroundings.

Commit to bringing more consistency into your life. Let your habits take on meaning. Begin to bring intention into your daily rituals and interactions with others.

First, we must find and discover exactly what we want from our life, by first evaluating what is most important to us. Who or what type of person do you value? Who do you aspire to be like? What behavioral qualities do they exhibit that you would like to integrate into your own life? What would it take for you to do so?

How can we do this? How can we attract more energy and qualities that we desire into our lives?

Writer, Hugo Cory, says, “The way to attract potential energy is to apply its behavior to oneself.”

Perhaps, yourself or your circumstance isn’t exactly where you would like it to be. To move away from this and shift into a more desirable state requires more consistent and intentional action. By doing so, you can begin to magnetize anything that you seek. Turn your attention to the things that matter most in your life. Everyday, remember that intention and let that intention be one to nurture and care for yourself so that you can start to extend care towards others in your life. Create conditions for your own growth and healing. Bring more love into the places that require it. Foster the situations in your life that you want to improve upon. This requires patience and curiosity. Through this work, the space is created for change.

We are given the gift of love in our lives, but just like a flower that love must be nurtured and tended to. Think of your body, your loved ones and relationships like a precious flower that must be cared for. Send intentional care and consideration to yourself and others on a daily basis. Begin to witness the changes that occur within your life, as more ease and space for growth and progress appear around you.

This continual nurturing leads us every single time to our hearts, so that every day we may offer our hearts fully to others in everything that we do. Our hearts can begin to illuminate the world through our actions.

We’ve got this gift of love, but also love is like a precious plant. You cannot just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think this it is going to get on by itself. You’ve got keep watering it. You’ve got to really look after and nurture it.
