Ask most people, and they will most likely confirm that happiness is the most important thing in their lives and one of the last things that they would give up. Most of us would probably choose a short life filled with happiness over a long one lived without it.

Yet we often find ourselves unhappy.

We continually let our individual circumstances dictate our contentment. However, this doesn’t have to be the case. Happiness with what is obtained by chance has no boundaries. We can choose happiness in any experience. When we are in a state of joy, we can find pleasure without expectations and reflect this feeling to others. When we are happy, we are receptive to our surroundings, we see the beauty, support and love that exists around us and in the people that we care about in our lives

In fact, without happiness, we cannot truly appreciate all that life has to offer. The depth of happiness is not reflected in our circumstances or how others make us feel, but in our willingness to choose joy and love above all. When we connect ourselves with happiness, we are receptive to life and deeply connected to its enjoyment.

Happiness is embracing wherever you are in life.

Remember this space and feeling of happiness because it is always yours

When I was five years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
